The Account Coordinator is a burgeoning talent on the Business Leadership team. Equal parts organizer, collaborator, and problem-solver, they support client relationships and project execution with rigor, curiosity, and heart. Far from just managing timelines, they help shape the thinking—connecting client needs to creative ambition and strategic direction. They bring energy to every touchpoint, supporting internal teams and Directors to deliver work that is thoughtful, on time, and memorable for all the right reasons. With a growing eye for opportunity and a hunger to learn, they are on the path to becoming a trusted partner clients and teams can count on.
Transparency matters to us. For this role, you can expect a salary between $45,000-50,000 annually, depending on experience. This is for an existing vacancy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Client Relationships: Act as a trusted partner to junior clients, helping turn requests into opportunities. Communicate proactively, ask thoughtful questions, and help shape smarter briefs. Support relationship-building by ensuring every interaction reflects clarity, care, and Cossette’s commitment to quality.
- Strategic Viewpoint: Approach every task with curiosity and insight. Research client industries, competitors, and culture to help uncover trends and sharpen strategic direction. Use tools like AI to analyze data and elevate recommendations—supporting thinking that’s grounded, fresh, and future-facing.
- Creative Quality & Strategic Execution: Support the delivery of great work by managing the details that bring big ideas to life. Own responsibilities from start to finish—tracking timelines, managing tasks, and flagging risks early. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure all deliverables meet the highest standards of creativity, clarity, and impact.
- Financial Accountability: Build financial fluency by tracking budgets, logging expenses, and monitoring scope changes. Support the team in identifying risks and staying within budget—learning how to balance creativity with discipline. Contribute to forecasting and help protect the financial health of projects.
- Coaching & Development: Learn and grow through mentorship. Share knowledge, contribute ideas, and support a collaborative, high-performing team culture. Be proactive, engaged, and open to feedback—becoming a key contributor to the team’s momentum and the agency’s creative success.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Educational background in marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field—internships or agency exposure considered an asset.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks with precision and follow-through in fast-paced, team-driven environments.
- Eagerness to build client relationships through clear communication, active listening, and a solutions-oriented mindset.
- Strong organizational skills with a sharp attention to detail—ensuring deliverables are tracked, deadlines are met, and teams are aligned.
- Foundational understanding of marketing principles and brand strategy, with interest in contributing to creative development and strategic planning.
- Curiosity for client industries and market trends—able to conduct research and apply insights to enhance briefs and project recommendations.
- Comfort working with budgets, scopes, and documentation—ready to support financial accuracy and resource optimization.
- Familiarity with digital tools, project management platforms, and emerging technologies like AI to support smarter, faster decision-making.
- Collaborative and open to feedback—keen to learn from senior team members and contribute positively to team dynamics.
- Self-starter with a growth mindset—committed to continuous learning, personal development, and agency impact.
